From Struggle to Solution
Where Hustle Meets Purpose
This platform was born from real-life hustle — the kind that international students face when starting fresh in a new country.
Our founder, Abhinav Manohar, arrived in Melbourne from India, ready to begin his studies at RMIT University. Like many students landing for the first time, he faced the immediate challenge of finding a place to live. With limited options and time, he ended up signing a 6-month contract for student accommodation. It was expensive, but he didn’t have much of a choice.
As months passed, Abhinav realized that staying in student housing long-term wasn’t sustainable. He decided to find a more affordable rental. But that search came with its own set of challenges. Being new to the city, with no car and only a bicycle and public transport to rely on, he began the exhausting process of visiting rental properties — one suburb at a time, one inspection at a time.
Every day meant paying for transport, riding long distances, and still coming up empty after viewing places that were either already taken or not what he expected. It was draining, time-consuming, and frustrating.
That’s when an idea clicked: what if others were going through the same struggle? What if people could team up, inspect places together, and make the whole process more efficient and affordable?
That moment sparked a bigger vision — to create a platform that helps people reduce the cost, time, and uncertainty of finding a rental. A solution rooted in real experiences, and built to serve a growing community of students, expats, and newcomers.
Abhinav’s story is not unique — it represents many who arrive in a new city with big dreams but face quiet, exhausting challenges. This platform exists to make that journey easier — by bringing people together, sharing the load, and building a better way to find a place to call home.
